In contrast to musicians like Tyler, the Creator, or Playboi Carti, Kendrick isn't often given the same attention when it comes to fashion, but over the past ten years, he has pulled off some fantastic suits. In some instances, his endorsement even contributed to the explosion of certain brands that are worn by numerous celebrities today. Although Kendrick tends to dress more modestly than his dripped out peers, he has overdone some of his looks over the years.

In 2016, Kendrick firmly established himself as one of the greatest singers of all time. He received many honors and prizes after releasing his third studio album, To Pimp a Butterfly, in 2015.
