WIZKID SHUTDOWN LONDON'S O2 ARENA ALONG SIDE CHRIS BROWN AND OTHER BIG ARTISTES

Wizkid just has a way of wowing his audience, breaking through with his first popular single “Holla at your boy" which appeared on his debut album “SUPERSTAR" in 2011. He went global in 2016 after he collaborated with Drake“One Dance" since then Wizkid has been dropping hit songs and topping musical chart boards.

Shortly, after his three days' MADE IN LAGOS concert, Starboy light up another magnificent concert held at the legendary O2 Arena, London, his fans home and abroad brought the first, second, and third tickets within an hour. He began his O2 Arena concert with thrilling performances as he brought to the stage with him artistes like American superstar Chris Brown, his hitmaker Tems, Buju with the golden voice, the British singer Ella Mai and British rapper Skepta who all feature in his MADE IN LAGOS album. 20,000 plus were present for the concert.

Apart from pulling a massive crowd and performing songs from his new and previous albums, wizkid has proved that there is more to the concert when he invited Chris Brown to the stage. Wizkid recognized Chris Brown as the first guy to ever show him love Internationally and has been his brother for 10 years.

Tems and Wizkid sang their hit song ‘Essence’, to the delight of fans who couldn’t help but sing along to the song which was dubbed “the song of the summer” by Justin Bieber. He brought Buju on stage as for ‘Mood’, in a moment that Buju described as career-defining.

Breezy performed his rendition of ‘Go Crazy’ which was a song he originally sang with Young Thug. Other performances for the night were Ella Mai and Wizkid’s song ‘Piece Of Me’ and ‘Long Time’ featuring Skepta.


Notable star appearances during the event included that of British rapper Stormzy, and footballer Lukaku. Supermodel, Naomi Campbell attended the show as well and got herself acquainted with Big Wiz.

Hollywood actress Gabrielle Union-Wade was also in attendance, and she even visited Wizkid backstage to congratulate him for a successful performance. Both stars hung out for a few hours, and Gabrielle stole the hearts of Nigerians after she said she wanted to visit Nigeria to get the full treatment.
