FROM BROOKLYN TO BUZZ: THE UPS AND DOWNS OF CELEBRITY LOOKALIKE CONTESTS
Zain Javadd Malik, known professionally as Zayn Malik or simply Zayn, is a 31-year-old English singer. He rose to prominence in 2010 when he auditioned as a solo artist on the British music competition The X Factor. Despite being eliminated, he was given another opportunity and became part of the newly created five-member boy band One Direction. The group quickly rose to international fame and became one of the best-selling boy bands ever. In March 2015, Zayn decided to leave the band and later embarked on a solo career, signing a recording contract with RCA Records.
It seems like the Zayn Malik lookalike contest in Brooklyn had quite the reaction! While the idea of such a contest might have been entertaining, the results left fans skeptical about the resemblance of the finalists to the former One Direction star. With hundreds of participants, it appears the chosen top three didn’t quite meet fans' expectations in terms of their similarity to Zayn, which likely fueled the online reaction. Events like this often attract attention and mixed opinions, especially when it involves a celebrity with a unique and recognizable appearance like Zayn Malik.

OSCHINO CLAIMS DIDDY MADE AN INAPPROPRIATE PROPOSITION TO HIS FRIEND
Oschino recently spoke with DJ Vlad on VladTV about the allegations against Diddy, emphasizing the principle of "innocent until proven guilty." He noted that Diddy can't just pay $50 million to escape allegations and criticized the timing of the accusations, questioning why no one spoke up sooner.
Oschino recounted a story where someone claimed Diddy asked if they would perform oral sex for a million dollars, which he initially dismissed. He reflected on Diddy's wealth and influence, stating that with $900 million, he shouldn't have to engage in questionable behavior. Oschino suggested that Diddy needed a friend who would tell him the truth rather than just agree with him, highlighting the dangers of absolute power and the importance of recognizing consequences.

ROD WAVE CONFRONTS CHRIS SAILS OVER RUMORS ABOUT ALLEGED NEW RELATIONSHIP
Following the release of Rod Wave's new album Last Lap, fans have been curious about how the song topics might relate to his personal life. However, it's best not to make too many assumptions. Popular YouTuber Chris Sails learned this the hard way after taking to social media to claim that Wave and the mother of his child are currently facing a rough patch. Sails also questioned why the rapper continues to release sad songs, hinting that they might be about this situation, despite rumors that Wave has a new girlfriend. However, since Sails didn't provide any proof, these claims remain unverified social media gossip.
Rod Wave reacted strongly to rumors spread by YouTuber Chris Sails, who speculated about Wave's personal life and suggested he was going through a rough patch with the mother of his child. Wave responded on Twitter, threatening Sails but later clarified he was joking. RICK ROSS FINDS NEW LOVE AMID PAST RELATIONSHIP DRAMA
Rick Ross has been struck by the love bug once again. While his previous relationships haven't always ended on the best terms—his ongoing online exchanges with Tia Kemp are proof enough—there seems to be a new chapter unfolding. The internet often sided with Ross over his brief romance with Cristina Mackey, who, back in early March, claimed they had been over for some time and that she was doing well. However, many onlookers were skeptical, suggesting her frequent gym visits were an attempt to attract someone new. Unlike Mackey and Kemp, who have been vocal, Ross has remained notably silent about these past relationships

CHARLI XCX UNVEILS 'BRAT SUMMER' IN LATEST ALBUM, REDEFINING POP CULTURE
Charlotte Emma Aitchison, better known as Charli XCX, is an English singer and songwriter born on 2 August 1992 in Cambridge and brought up in Start Hill, Essex. She started her music career in 2008 by sharing her songs on Myspace, which caught the attention of a promoter who then invited her to perform at warehouse raves. So, what exactly does it mean to be a "brat"? In a TikTok interview following her album release, Charli explained the "bratosphere" as being the girl who's a bit chaotic, loves to party, and sometimes says silly things. Despite this, she remains confident, even if she experiences a breakdown, and continues to party through it. Throughout her 16-year career, Charli XCX has explored a range of musical styles, from performing at underground warehouse raves to creating Grammy-nominated pop hits.

During his Juneteenth "Pop Out" event at the Forum, Kendrick Lamar transformed it into a healing livestreamed celebration of unity in Los Angeles. Tyler, The Creator, Steve Lacy, YG, and other rising LA rappers and artists were among the performers in Lamar's three-hour event lineup.
Upon taking the stage, the 37-year-old rapper effortlessly performed two Drake disses, "Euphoria" and "6:16 in LA," alongside fellow Black Hippy collaborators Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, and Jay Rock. Later, Dr. Dre joined him on stage.
A 17,000-strong crowd, including The Weeknd, LeBron James, Ayo Edebiri, and Rick Ross, rapped along to every word of the biting-but-jubilant DJ Mustard track, which Lamar resumed twice after the first verse and performed four times in total.

It has been announced that due to major shifts in the festival industry, this year's MELT festival in Germany will be its last.
Launched in 1997, MELT has become one of Germany's largest outdoor electronic music festivals. However, organizers have decided to conclude the festival, citing "insurmountable changes in the festival landscape" as the primary reason for this difficult decision.

RUMORS OF A LEAKED SEX TAPE INVOLVING ICE SPICE SPREAD WIDELY ACROSS SOCIAL MEDIA.

With the release of her hit single "Munch" in 2022, she catapulted into the spotlight, swiftly followed by a string of other successful tracks. Furthermore, her collaborations with icons such as Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj have propelled her to superstardom. Tweets often prompt users to engage by offering purported leaked videos with messages like "like this tweet for the leaked ____ video." This trend targeted Rubi Rose and Bobbi Althoff a few weeks ago, and now Ice Spice is the subject, with multiple accounts alleging possession of a leaked sex tape featuring her.

ONE OF THE MOST JAW-DROPPING MOMENTS OF 2023
In January, Swedish pop star Zara Larsson wore a dress that inadvertently included controversial imagery. The dress featured artwork from various metal bands, including Cannibal Corpse and Behemoth, and Burzum. While most of the bands featured on the dress are well-known, Burzum's front man Varg Vikernes has a notorious reputation in the black metal scene for his far-right political views, crimes, and violence. When Larsson posted a TikTok showing off the dress, she didn't realize the full implications of Burzum's imagery
After receiving a flood of criticism and becoming aware of the controversy surrounding Burzum, Larsson issued an apology via the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet. She stated that she was unaware of the band's background, and had only chosen the dress because she enjoyed the overall design. She apologized for not doing her research, and for not understanding the seriousness of the situation. She stressed that she does not support any form of hate or discrimination, and would not have worn the dress had she been aware of the controversy.

AMERICAN RAPPER FETTY WAP WAS GIVEN A 6-YEAR PRISON TERM FOR A DRUG-TRAFFICKING PLOT.
Fetty Wap was sentenced to six years in federal prison on May 24, 2023, for his role in a New York-based drug-trafficking enterprise.
Willie Maxwell better known by the stage name Fetty Wap, rocketed to notoriety in May 2015, when his debut single, the melodious but grungy "Trap Queen," peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States. The song is about a partner who has your back, even if it means assisting you in cooking and selling narcotics.
Maxwell, the "Trap Queen" rapper, pled guilty in August 2022 to a conspiracy drug charge that had a mandatory minimum sentence of five years. Long Island federal court gave out the sentence.
In 2016, he was nominated for two Grammy Awards.
The rapper, and five other defendants were accused of conspiring to possess and distribute crack cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl totaling more than 220 pounds between June 2019 and June 2020.
Maxwell told U.S. District Judge Joanna Seybert, "Me being selfish in my pride put me in this position today." His lawyers said he turned to drug dealing due to financial problems caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.
Maxwell admitted his involvement in a major drug trafficking ring when he entered a guilty plea to the main charge against him, conspiracy to distribute and possess prohibited drugs. The lone cocaine-related plea saved him from a possible life sentence if he had been found guilty of all the crimes he was facing.
According to the prosecution, the plan involved shipping drugs from the West Coast to Long Island, where they were held before being distributed to traffickers on Long Island and in New Jersey, using the U.S. Postal Service and vehicles with secret compartments.
Maxwell's attorneys had hoped for the mandatory five-year prison term, although the prosecution wanted a harsher punishment.

ED SHEERAN SUCCEEDS IN A COPYRIGHT LAWSUIT AGAINST MARVIN GAYE'S SONG THAT IS SIMILAR TO HIS.
The British singer Ed Sheeran won the copyright case for his Grammy-winning single "Thinking Out Loud."
The heirs of Ed Townsend, a co-writer of the 1973 song "Let's Get It On" by the late Marvin Gaye, sued the artist.
The 2016 complaint claimed that Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud" and the 1973 soul song shared egregious similarities and other related components.
According to reports, the case for copyright infringement sought $100 million in damages.
However, a Manhattan jury identified on Thursday, May 4, 2023, that Sheeran had independently written his song and had not violated the copyright of Gaye's song.
Sheeran commented on the decision, saying that eight years were spent discussing two songs with radically different words and chords that songwriters all over the world may utilize daily
The 32-year-old pop artist claimed he is incredibly frustrated by the accusation made against him.
"I'm certainly thrilled with how the case turned out. It appears that I won't have to leave my day job after all," he added.
"However, at the same time, I'm incredibly irritated that such flimsy charges could even be brought up in court.
"Being accused of stealing someone else's song is awful. To allow the creative process to continue, we need to revert to common sense and employ reliable people as music specialists.
The musician claimed on Tuesday that he would have to be an idiot to steal Gaye's song and then perform it for tens of thousands of admirers.
He added, "I would be quite an idiot to come on a stage in front of 20,000 people and do that if I had done what you are accusing me of doing.
To demonstrate that the Grammy-winning song was initially recorded by Sheeran, he also performed it while testifying in court.

Adam Levine, whose full name is Adam Noah Levine, is an American musician, actor, and television personality who rose to prominence as the lead singer and primary songwriter of Maroon 5 and then widened his audience as a coach on the television singing competition The Voice.
Singer Adam Levine of Maroon 5 has reportedly been charged with infidelity on his wife Behati Prinsloo, who is expecting their third child together. Two girls were born to the couple after their 2014 wedding.

The model continued by posting a screenshot of an Instagram Direct Message that the musician is said to have sent her after she stopped speaking with him. The screenshot's text stated, "Ok serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s [a] boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You ok with that? DEAD serious."
Having read his direct message, Sumner claimed she felt "like I have to be in hell at this point. My morals were unknowingly being compromised." She said "she never wanted to come forward," knowing "the implications that come with doing what I do, making money the way I do, and being an Instagram model," and the "stereotypes" related to being an influencer.
Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine have not yet responded to the accusations.

As a result of our acquisition of Vydia, we are a progressive media firm that is supported by the greatest content distribution and analytics tools available. Gamma is an ideas company at its very core.
Since its founding in 2021, Zagadat Capital has made investments in innovative firms like Eden Life, the African fintech Pawapay, the South African basketball franchise CapeTown Tigers, and the remittance-based lending firm Paisa.
The creative finance/IP company emPawa (his company), the ticketing platform SHOOBS, and the American music distribution platform Vydia, whose service emPawa used before financial investments in these companies, were some of the first to get investments in the music technology sector.
