The power of music cannot be underestimated. Music has breath unity, love, courage and romance among people and has opened their eyes to the word called “LOVE” and this feeling called love created by the power in music has made people in the music industry collaborate, join and be together as couples who record songs together and have gone through thick and thin together and still hold on to one another against all odds. I will be taking us through well known celebrities that met in the industry, got married and are still together till date despites all challenges and rumors.
1. JAYZ AND BEYONCE

Shawn Corey Carter known as “Jayz” is a rapper, songwriter & producer and his wife Beyonce Giselle Knowles better known as “Beyonce” is an African-American R&B singer, songwriter, & actress. These well-known couples started their journey of love officially in the year 2001 but had met previously in the year 2000 on their way to the 2000 MTV spring break festival in a plane that’s heading to Cancun. Years after getting to know each other, going on dates, they decided to secretly wed on April 4th, 2008.They are parent of 3children (blue ivy, Rumi and sir). 2. ALICIA KEYS AND SWIZZ BEATZ

Life has a way of twisting one. The story of love, hope, inspiration, and unbreakable bond shared between the Grammy-winning artists Alicia keys and Swizz beatz is one that cannot be thrown out but placed dearly as a food of thought for all. Swizz and Keys met as a teenager when she just started in the music industry. Swizz then did all he could to win the heart of keys but all effort did not get to her but rather she found him annoying. After, swizz got married to singer Mashonda Tifere and gave birth to 3 children but announced their separation in 2008. According to Mashonda she claimed her marriage failed as a result of the affairs between keys and Swizz. Not long after this claim, rumors of Swizz and keys dating became the talk of the town in 2009 and this rumors brought a lot of stain to keys integrity. However, in 2010 they got married in their private home on Mediterranean sea and have 2 sons (Genesis and Egypt) together .Alicia keys and Swizz recently celebrated their 11 years of marriage.
3. TIM MCGRAW AND FAITH HILL

On their 21st wedding anniversary Faith Hill (an American singer & record producer) and Tim Mcgraw (a singer, guitarist and record producer) simultaneously released their new single “the rest of our life” alongside a music video. This amazing couples have released more than 10 songs together (it’s your love, like we never loved before, let’s make love, angry all the time, meanwhile back at mama) and many more. The question is how did this couple meet? Tim McGraw and Faith met tin 1994 at a seminar showcase for new artist. Tim fell in love with faith at first sight and as sweet as a love song! Faith Hill and Tim McGraw have one of the lasting and strongest relationships in the industry. In 1996, Faith joined Tim on a combustion tour and the tour re-kindled the fire of love between them and that made Faith to breakup with Scott Hendricks (a producer she was engaged with as at the time) and followed her heart with Tim. August 1982 is a south African motswako rapper and a hip-hop ace who recently veered into amapiano with a song titled “Buyile. He has won several awards; South African music award for Album of the year, south African male artist of the year, South African best music video and South African hip-hop song of the year. Khuli Chana is a key supporter of his wife, Lamiez, who’s also a musician. Lamiez Holworthy whose real name is Ntokozo Dlamini (born 12 June 1992) is a South African disc jockey and TV personality.She gained national fame for hosting the South African music show LiveAMP.The beautiful Disc jockey and television show host worked hard to earn a place in the south African music industry.She is a maestro of the decks and turntables, spinning the numbers for the party crowd. Khuli Chana and Lamiez Holworthy got married in 2019 and are still together till date.
Many of the music artist whose relationships are going strong have to walk the tight rope between love, fame, money obsessed, fan base , and endless temptations. So, high kudos goes to couples in the industry that have fought their marriages through thousands of hate ,ridicule and unfair comment of the world.
