Let the music play on
MEET THE MAVIN SQUAD
Nigerian music has gained international recognition thanks to the name of one of the leading record labels in the nation. The company is called Mavin Record Label. Established in 2012, it has not only produced hits for us in the early 2010s but also keeps promoting musicians who have set the standard for some of our favorite tones. Although we may be able to recite the hits verbatim, we are not as familiar with the label's members as we would be. For that reason, we have compiled a brief list of some of the Mavin Record Label's artists and members.
LIST OF RECORDING ARTISTS CURRENTLY IN THE MAVIN RECORDS
1. DON JAZZY
Don Jazzy, whose real name is Michael Collins Ajereh, is the CEO and owner of Mavin. However, he began his career as a producer, working with D'banj to establish the now-defunct Mo'Hits Record Label. After he and D'Banj broke up and Mo'Hits was dissolved, he then founded Mavin Records in 2012. He hasn't produced or sung as much since then, although he still makes an odd appearance to fulfill those responsibilities.

2. REMA
Rema, also known as Divine Ikubor, is a leading Mavin artist who primarily records Afropop and trap music. He is the boy wonder of the new generation of musicians. Mavin signed him under the Jonzing World record label, an imprint of the latter controlled by Don Jazzy's brother Charles Enebeli. Following the announcement of Rema's signing in March 2019, his self-titled EP—which included hits like "Iron Man" and "Dumebi"—was released and went on to become a global success.

Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, whose stage name is Ayra Starr, is 19 years old, and her brilliance may be a sign of things to come. Don Jazzy claims that the teenage singer was formerly a student at the Mavin Academy, which develops young talent. In January of this year, she also became an activated Mavin artiste and made her debut with the well-received project of the same name.

PETER TEGA OGHENEJOBO
Due to his stable shoulders, Don Jazzy, the CEO of Mavin Records, can take time off from running the day-to-day operations of the company to produce music for his singers, perform with others, and generally be the center of attention on the Nigerian internet. As the chief operational officer, Tega is the one who keeps everything in check.
